About the Project
The project includes the design and construction of a new SR 509 four-lane tolled expressway between 24th Avenue South and South 188th Street/Des Moines Memorial Drive.
The Scope:
Reconstruct two existing SR 509 interchanges at South 188th Street/DMMD and South 160th Street.
Construct a new southbound auxiliary lane on I-5 between South 272nd Street and SR 516.
Construct five new bridges.
Construct over 50 acres of wetland enhancement and roadside restoration.

Prequalification Process
All trade contractors need to complete our Subcontractor Qualification Application to be eligible to bid on our projects and contract with Atkinson. Atkinson uses TradeTapp, a BuildingConnected product, to assist our team in prequalifying trade contractors. If your company has a TradeTapp and/or BuildingConnected account already, you should skip setup and log in using your existing credentials.
