Atkinson Crews Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity

Atlanta, GA – Atkinson staff (i.e., project managers, superintendents, foremen, engineers, and safety staff) took time away from their active heavy civil construction projects to volunteer on a NW Metro Atlanta build site. Separate crews of four individuals worked three consecutive days to help reconstruct a family home after it was damaged in a fire. A different organization had completed the fire damage demolition prior to our arrival. Therefore, our crews focused on framing the new house and cleaning up debris outside. Once complete, the new home will be donated to a deserving low-income family. As testament to serving the communities where we live and work, the Atkinson team has made a standing commitment to work with Habitat for Humanity every other month to provide them with skilled labor and help them fulfill community needs.
