This expansion and modernization project involves new construction and the renovation of existing facilities at the third-busiest commercial land crossing along the U.S.–Mexico border. The project aims to enhance operations and accommodate the growing demands of the US Customs & Border Protection (CBP). Additional improvements include surface parking, a dedicated Return-to Mexico lane, a northbound pedestrian ramp, sidewalk enhancements, security updates, and energy/water efficiency improvements. The contractor's scope covers architectural, engineering, construction, and related services, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes.
