This project includes:
- One southbound lane from SE 8th Street to I-90, to include the removal of the Wilberton Tunnel.
- One northbound lane from 112th Avenue to SE 8th Street.
- A new northbound structure over Coal Creek Parkway.
- A new three-lane southbound bridge over I-90 to the west of and adjacent to the existing southbound bridge.
- Converting the existing southbound structure to a northbound HOV lane.
- Installing quieter pavement along the project limits as part of a test project to test its durability, quality and quantity of noise reduction as well as how its noise suppression abilities perform over time.
- A new ramp meter at 112th Ave SE, and
- Enhanced stormwater management facilities.
