I-15 Limonite Ave Interchange

The I-15/Limonite Ave Interchange project includes significant improvements to a portion of I-15, one of Southern California's busiest freeways.

The project features the reconstruction of a tight diamond interchange into a partial cloverleaf interchange with spread diamond ramps and loop entrance ramps. The project's construction of a 380-foot by 150-foot cast-in-place box girder bridge over I-15 at Limonite Ave. helps to ease congestion and improve traffic flow. The scope included extensive excavation work totaling 200,000 cubic yards, in addition to the laying of 85,000 cubic yards of fresh roadway pavement, the application of pavement markings, and the installation of electrical systems.

To maintain the accessibility of the Limonite Ave. bridge and minimize disruptions to traffic flow, the project included a phased approach to demolition and construction.
