Intercounty Connector, Contract C

Intercounty Connector, Contract C is a new 3.8-mile, six-lane variable rate toll road, spanning from the western vicinity of US 29 to the eastern extent of I-95. The project also encompassed the development of 2 miles of collector-distributor roadways, the construction of a three-level interchange interfacing with US 29, the establishment of a new interchange with Briggs Chaney Road, and the creation of a three-level interchange with I-95. Notably, the construction endeavors comprised the erection of 25 new bridges, featuring aesthetic elements harmonizing with the surrounding environment. Additionally, the project involved the installation of sound wall barriers spanning over two miles and the excavation of over two million cubic yards of earth.
