Route 210 Lane Addition and Base Line Improvements

The Route 210 Lane Addition and Base Line Improvements project includes 6 miles of improvements to ease congestion, improve safety, and help protect the local ecosystem. The project adds a new lane and shoulder within the median and reconstructs on- and off-ramps and widens the existing bridge at Base Line St. Freeway. A crucial aspect of the project is replacing asphalt paving with a new continuously reinforced concrete pavement. 

Work consists of 21 new bridges, eight sound walls, seven retaining walls, and various roadway and drainage enhancements. Additionally, the project includes barrier replacements, dry utility installations, water and sewer improvements, traffic signing and striping, and erosion control measures.
