US 12/Nine Mile Hill to Frenchtown – Build New Highway

This project establishes a new US 12 corridor, providing a more direct route for high-speed freight and traffic between Walla Wall Junction and Wall Walla. The new four-lane divided highway between the cities involves an innovative proposal featuring two full-diamond interchanges at each end of the new alignment. These interchanges contribute to enhanced safety and efficiency. Additional measures such as grade-separated crossovers at existing intersections improve safety by separating local and highway traffic. The project includes significant excavation, 11 new bridges, new HMA roadway, various retaining walls, and additional traffic elements.
