The I-215/Scott Road Interchange project improves traffic through the construction of a partial cloverleaf interchange, standard diamond ramps, loop entrance ramps, and a new overcrossing. Additional work involved drainage enhancements, lighting upgrades, and sign installations. Ramp metering was planned for all on-ramps, and signal modifications were part of the overall plan. Significantly, the existing bridge, originally a two-lane country road, remained operational throughout the construction phase. Except for scheduled weekend closures for tie-in work, the existing on/off ramps also remained accessible, which ensured minimal disruption to regular traffic flow.
