The I-5 El Toro project enhances the capacity of this freeway. Approximately 2 miles of freeway, spanning from Alicia Parkway to El Toro Road, underwent expansion with the addition of one lane in each direction. The project involved the construction of multiple retaining walls, the installation of concrete pavement, and various underground improvements. Additionally, the scope of work encompassed the replacement of the Los Aliso bridge and the widening of three other bridges over I-5.
