I-90, SR 161, SR 202 & SR 203 – Fish Passage

The "NW Fish" project will replace eight existing fish barriers throughout King County: I-90 in Bellevue; SR 161 in Federal Way, Milton, and Edgewood; and SR 202 and SR 203 in Fall City and Carnation. The scope of work includes providing water crossing and structure designs, stream restoration in the immediate vicinity of the crossings, acquiring public and private agency permits and/or approvals, coordinating with Utility owners for all temporary and permanent Utility adjustments, and Utility relocation. Other work elements include constructing embankments, creek channel grading, paving and pavement marking, ITS, signing, illumination, signal revision, retaining walls, stormwater drainage, erosion control, planting, and roadside restoration.
