Rte 14 Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement

This project involves the construction of continuously reinforced concrete pavement over the existing pavement on an 8-mile stretch of Route 14 in Kern County near Rosamond and Mojave. The initial phase sees the construction of temporary crossovers and reinforcement of existing shoulders to accommodate new traffic patterns. Stages two and three create a shift in traffic to adjacent lanes, allowing the project team to construct the new pavement sections. The final stage involves removing temporary crossovers, with traffic patterns shifting onto the new pavement.
